RD3 is a 7” crystal clear sunlight readable viewing experience in a compact and lightweight housing.

Super fast load up times of less than 1 second gives the user a time advantage over other displays that can take up to 60 seconds to load and read data in a critical competitive environment. The display is user configurable via the free AIC Dash Configurator software. Users can change icons, readouts, labels and configure advanced warning banners. The software also allows upgrading to new features as they are released. The whole system draws less than 150mA of current. All data is accessed via CanBus and can be setup up in under 5 minutes.

RD3 comes with an industry standard Deutsch DTM 4 pin receptacle ready to connect directly to many standard automotive CAN interfaces. The dash requires a 1A fused supply and voltage between 5-24VDC.

Mounting

The dash comes with 4x M6 tapped holes for mounting, Each tapped hole allows a bolt depth of 15mm. Hole pattern: 130.5×77.5mm


CAN Setup

Link ECU

Link ECU users send “Generic Dash” and optionally send a custom “AIC” CAN stream for additional functionality. The generic dash is selected from the preset and sent to an ID chosen by the user, by default this ID is set to 1000. The AIC stream, by default is set to 1010.
